| We began racing professionally in 2001. Since that time Carrillo rods have been our choice for our race engines. When we began building our VW Jetta TDI Carrillo was our First Choice. And, we have not been disappointed! The Carrillo engineers worked with our team to design and manufacture connecting rods that will endure the harsh conditions our diesel engines see under racing situations. Carrillo built TDI rods are the only rods approved by SCCA pro racing for use in the SPEED World Challenge touring car series. |

| We have had a simple philosophy at Rhyne Competition Engines for the last 28 years, and that is to build effective, reliable engines at affordable prices. Using this philosophy we have been able to win the last 7 consecutive ARCA championships with 8 time ARCA champion Frank Kimmel, and numerous ARCA wins with a number of competitors. We also have numerous wins & championships at most of the local tracks both asphalt & dirt. However our engines are only as good as the components that we put in them, and we only choose the best parts available. That’s why you will see Carrillo rods in all of our “Upper end” engines, and most of our Sportsman engines. Not only are they the best rod out there, they are the industry standard when it comes to performance connecting rods, and that’s saying a lot.
